This Refund & Cancellations Policy outlines the terms related to cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and non-attendance charges for bookings made with London Safety Certificate.

1) Definitions

  • Company / We / Us: Landlord Safety Cert, a trading name of PrimeLinks Solutions.

  • Customer / You: The individual or business making a service booking.

  • Services: Safety certification and inspection services, such as EICR, Gas Safety/CP12, EPC, Fire Risk Assessment, PAT Testing, and Asbestos Survey, including any associated reports and certifications.

  • Booking: A confirmed appointment scheduled for an inspection or assessment.

  • Working Day: Monday to Friday, excluding UK public/bank holidays.

2) Bookings & Payment

Your booking is confirmed once your payment is received, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is not received, the booking remains provisional and may be canceled or rescheduled.

3) Cancellations by You

You may cancel your booking by phone or email (contact details in Section 9). Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid charges. If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment, an administration fee may apply.

4) Rescheduling by You

To reschedule, please contact us. If the request is made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, an administration fee may apply. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5) Missed Appointments / No Access / Non-Attendance

If our engineer/assessor attends but cannot complete the service due to circumstances beyond our control, an attendance or administration fee may apply. This includes situations such as:

  • Inability to access the property

  • Incorrect address provided

  • Lack of gas/electric supply or no access to the meter (where required)

  • Failure of tenant/agent to provide access as arranged

  • Responsible adult not present (where required)

  • The inspection cannot be performed for reasons not caused by our engineer/assessor

6) Refunds (General)

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. Refunds may be issued if:

  • You cancel according to Section 3

  • We cancel and cannot offer an alternative appointment (see Section 7)

  • A duplicate payment is made in error

Refunds are not typically provided for:

  • Services that could not be completed due to non-attendance or no access (Section 5)

  • Charges for attendance, administration, parking, congestion charges, or similar costs already incurred

7) Cancellations or Changes by Us

We may need to reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., engineer availability, emergency jobs, severe weather, or access issues). In such cases:

  • We will contact you to arrange a new appointment as soon as possible.

  • If no alternative date or time can be agreed upon, you may request a refund for the amount paid for the booking (excluding any non-refundable costs already incurred, if applicable).

8) Remedial Works / Additional Costs

If remedial work is required, it is not included in the original service unless explicitly agreed upon and paid for. Any quotes provided for remedial work are separate from the inspection or certification booking unless confirmed in writing.
